I teach Vocal Lessons, Piano Lessons, and Music Production & Songwriting.
Vocal Lessons: I focus on developing vocal technique, range, and performance skills, tailored to each student's unique voice and goals. This includes learning vocal warm-ups and understanding music theory through solfège.
Piano Lessons: I offer instruction for beginner to intermediate levels, emphasizing technique, rhythm, musicality, and repertoire that aligns with the student's interests. My teaching approach to theory encourages students to collaborate with other musicians and to perform confidently.
Music Production & Songwriting: I guide students through the creative process of writing, arranging, and producing their own music using Ableton Live. I also send their tracks via email, allowing them to practice lyric and melody writing in their free time.
I'm driven by the joy of helping others discover and develop their musical talents. What's unique about my teaching is that I'm bilingual. Growing up in Pennsylvania, I didn't have access to a piano or voice teacher who could prepare me for college while also teaching Argentine singing. Sharing my skills and knowledge allows me to inspire creativity and confidence in my students, helping them express themselves authentically. I believe music makes the world a better place, and I hope my lessons inspire student to contribute beautifully to their communities.
I have over a decade of experience in music, spanning teaching, performing, and songwriting. My journey began with formal training at Berklee, where I honed my skills in vocal performance, piano, and music production. Since then, collaborating with a diverse range of artist in New York has further enriched my experience and perspective. To keep evolving, I regularly perform and work on my own songwriting projects. I've also continued to learn and taught myself to dj. I utilize social media for visual marketing and actively collaborate with new artists, staying updated with industry trends and expanding my creative network. This continuous growth enables me to bring fresh, relevant insights to my students and remain at the forefront of the music industry.
My teaching style is centered around commemorating each student's unique authenticity and fostering a supportive and creative learning environment. I tailor my approach to fit the individual needs and goals of each student, encouraging them to embrace their own musical voice and personal expression. Taking an intuitive approach means I adapt my teaching methods based on the student's responses and progress, allowing for a more personalized and effective learning experience. I listen carefully to their feedback and adjust our lessons to keep them engaged and motivated. To create a feel-good experience, I strive to build a positive and encouraging atmosphere in every lesson. I focus on celebrating each student's achievements, no matter how small, and ensure that they feel supported and confident in their musical journey. My goal is for each student to leave our sessions feeling inspired and excited about their progress.
Lately, I find creative inspiration in taking breaks from the city and spending time in nature. There's a quote that really resonates with me: 'Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.' I try to incorporate this mindset into my songwriting practice. While New York and the music industry often emphasize hustle and urgency, I've found that moments of reflection and connection with nature bring a valuable balance to my creative process.
